    hi,

I have an idea…its kind of a morph thing between two PS shapes.
What i am trying to do is that i have two custom shapes of a woman which i converted in to PATHS.
Now i want to save these two PATHS as source and destination MASKS for a solid.
So that the one mask(shape of woman) morphs in to other, the destination one.
Is it possible to save the exported paths to illustrator as MASKS for a solid in AE?
pls pls let me know as i am in the middle of my project.
If this is not possible then pls tell me how do i save my Mattes as masks????
    regards,

    DIGI
    🙂

You can do this very easily. All you have to do is copy the path from Illustrator (Ctrl-C), then paste that into AE (Ctrl-V).

If that doesn’t work straight away then check your Preferences in Illustrator. In the Fil Handling & Clipboard section, change the clipboard copy away from PDF. I can’t remember what the other option is off the top of my head I’m afraid.

    Hope that helps,
    Ben
