How to save over a network
Our PC version of Premiere Pro CS3 will not allow us to save a project over a network UNLESS we change the name of the project. Our Mac computer with CS3 WILL save over our network WITHOUT changing the name.
Any ideas?

Even though the error message tells you to “save as”…Premiere does save the project file to the network drive, but does not open it. I then did File>Open Project and browsed to the network drive and am able to open it. Strange!?
