How to revert Dynamic Link with After Effects comp to original video?
Is there a way, when undo is not an option, to have a clip in a time line that has become a dynamic link in an after effects project revert back to just being a clip?
Sometimes I test effects or techniques unavailable in Premiere in After Effects, but find they don’t do quite what I’d like, or that there is a simpler solution in Premiere, and want the dynamically linked clip in the timeline to revert back to the original video clip(s). Is this possible?

I can’t think of an ‘easy’ way. I think you could open the project in AE, copy the clip from the timeline and paste it back (or delete the original clip first.)
As far as experimenting goes, this is when I duplicate the sequence – then I can experiment, knowing I have the original around.

Before using DL copy clip and put it in the timeline and disable or drag it into the Project Panel.
