    Then yo don’t need it as it gets installed with FCS2. It doesn’t show up as a separate component anymore, it’s just in the QT Pro license that is activated upon installation.

    Ok but after regaining my os from backup it just does not work.

    My goal would be not to install FCP again.

    Not sure if it’s possible without it. You can do this very quickly by turing off all ancillary tutorials and media (motion media, STP media, etc) via the custom installation option. Reinstall all apps from the suite (they are all very small) then update everything to the most current. That should get you there.
