  • How to “resize” The Boxes Transition Preset

Posted by Marc Nibor on September 2, 2009 at 9:04 pm

my comp ist 1280×720 and i want to use the “Boxes – Stroked” transition from the Trasition dissolves presets.

the transition uses masks which as far as i understand are sized for pal or ntsc footage. so if i apply this transition it is too “small” for my comp.

is there a simple way to scale the transition up so that it fits my comp – or at least comes close? as far as I see it consists of 5 masks. i can drag single points of each singel mask, but this is way too messy and takes forever. can i select the whole thing at once and scale all of them at once?

    Thank you

    Answering my own question:
Got it! I was in the wrong place. instead of editing the masks I had to highlight the strokes inside of the effects controls… like this the resizing of the complete transition worked just as expected.
