  • How to resize an existing shape layer using Scripts?

Posted by Amrithnath Vijayakumar on October 23, 2018 at 5:25 am

    Hey,
I’m pretty new to scripting in After Effects and After Effects in general. I am currently trying to create a video template that can be used for multiple projects using scripts and some data from the clients. Basically these videos would be similar to infographs , I’m trying to scale a shape layer based on a percentage value from the data file, so far i’m unable to access the transform property of the shape layer. Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks ????

    Hi,

You should check out redefinery.com, he has a free script called prop path I think which will give you the path to any property in any type of scripting/expression language !
His tutorials are great too ????
