Is it possible in C4D to animate one object and then apply that animation to different objects at a different points in time?

In other words, I want to create a sample object animation, let’s say a simple R.H rotation of 360 degrees in 30 frames (key framed). I then want to be able to apply that motion to several other objects at different points in time line. So, for object 2 I want the animation to start on frame 90. For object 3 I want it to start on frame 120. And so on.

If I want to change the motion of all the objects, I would only have to change the key frames of the original object.

    Is that possible in C4D?

Well, I presume, first one has to create the same track as the original at the
destination object (Add Property Tracks / Rotation / All or H, P, B).

Then select the original Track / Keyframes (Shift + Click).

Then Shift + Control and move this track to any other object and time.
(You might find it easier to open all tracks before moving them to a new destination)

Well, I am not quite sure yet if possible how to set up keyframes controlling other tracks.

    Cheers

So is there no way to create an object with a pre-defined motion and then in a timeline set up multiple instances of that object at different places in time and space? Obviously the original keyframes would have to recalculate relative to the new starting position (in both space and time).

This seems like it would be very necessary for a complex scene that had many different objects designed (and animated) by different people. Whoever assembles the scene would want to very quickly change the starting point (both space and time) on each object but not change the actual animation/motion of those objects.
