Can anyone tell me how to render out with an alpha channel? I have Adobe Premiere an want to make some graphics with After effekts, but when i choose microsoft DV codec i don`t get the option to render with an alpha channel. How is this done? I Use PAL technology if that helps.

What is the best codec to render with, and is it free???

The DV specs do not support alpha. To get alpha, you must render to “Uncompressed with alpha” or RGBA, selected in the Output Module. or just select ‘Lossless with Alpha’ in the drop down presets.
