  • How to render one video with all your clips, no AAF EDL XML

    Hi, a very basic question but as I don’t find answer anywhere..

    We have problems with the AAF back into Avid (MC6 and Davinci 8.2 on Mac) relinking the sequence with the graded clips for a 45min TVshow; half of the clips will not relink.

    As I’m already behind schedual I figure instead of using more time trying to figure that out, I’ll just export a 45min graded video (no individual clips), import it into Avid to add sound and graphics.

    So my basic question is, how the h.. do I avoid rendering induvidual clips from Davinci, but as ONE fully graded video file?

    Greatful for fast answer!

    Set render to Target instead of Source.

    Well, it seems like I found the answer.
    If anybody else find themselves waisting time on something this trivial;

    In render window you can choose between source and target. Source renders individual clips, Target creates one video file containing all your selected clips.
