    Hi,
Do anyone know if there is a way to render a depth pass in AE based on the 3D objects in the scene and the camera settings.

Would be super to be able to decide ammount of DOF etc. later on in the post process in my current project.

    /Simon

I’ve used Depth in the past:

You could hack together a depth map by duplicating your comp, coloring all your objects white and adding a light at the camera location.
