    How to record directly to FCP 5.1.4 from Canon XL2?

    Greetings 🙂

    Can anyone advise me how to record directly to FCP 5.1.4 from Canon XL2? My co-worker is embarrassing me that he can do that on his PC w/ Adobe Premiere. While I cannot do on my Mac G5.

    If you are wondering how to log and capture right from the camera, firewire the camera to the computer. Open final cut, go to the log and capture window and change the input device to non-controllable device.
