    Hello

I’m wondering how do I get good quality video out of after effects. Every time I export, all I get is washed out video when viewed on quicktime, colours never look the same from when viewed from the composition. Is getting AME or using FCPX the best option? Can anyone run me through how video editors or what not, would render/export their video to put up on itunes or TV? (Im really interested to know how that all works and what makes a professional quality video to a amateur one) The quality always looks nicer and text looks much more clear? I hope I’m making sense here. Basically I want to get the best video out of my render, whether its graphics or video from After Effects. All content will either be on Youtube or DVD.

    Thanks guys!

There’s an awful lot of information, but it will certainly put you on the right track:

Do not use Quicktime Player for checking anything color critical.
