How to prevent bin windows from opening up in their own window
Hi
Each time i open a bin window, it opens up into a floating panel. Ive looked in the preferences to change this to a more managable tabbed option, but can not find how to effect this. Can anybody suggest how i can do this?

Yes! Click on the three stripe thingy in the upper right corner of the main project panel, then Panel Group Settings> then check “Stacked Panel Group” and “Solo Panels in Stack”.
Keeps everything nice and neat.

Inside of general settings you can set the default behavior of double click, ctrl click, and alt click. I believe you are just looking to change double-click to open new tab.

Thanks. I have tried this, however it will not work for me. It still opens in a floating window each time i open a bin in the project window

I forgot that step. Do what Tim says, THEN follow my instructions to have the tabs open one above the other so you don’t have to scroll left to right to find a bin inside the project panel.
