I have the post after this and cant seem to get the video uploaded. I go through the process and come to a screen telling me: This Video is being Re-Encoded. Please check back in 5-10 minutes. Only its been allot longer than that and its still there, Its an .mov video. What should I do?

depending on size it could be a while, if it is not already h264 (or flv) then compress it yourself first to h264 and then you can use the “Don’t Re-encode” choice and won’t have to wait for the server to compress it

You should receive an email letting you know encoding has finished. It will give you a link to the page the video is on. On that page, on the right side, there are two boxes. One says “embed” and the other “link”. You can use the “embed” code to include a video in your post, the other is just a link to the page where the video resides.

I have spent the last two hours trying to figure out how to pre-compress to h264, found that you can do it with flash player. Otherwise i’m clueless. How do i do this? Also any suggestions or pointers (tutorials) on general animation file editing? I mean how to set up things in the render engine, how to export, file extensions etc.

Thanks for the help, this is a new area for me.

If you are referring to C4D, in render settings you select to output to QT, click on options and select H.264 rather than animation codec.

I have a tutorial on setting up rendering in C4D:
