how to pop bubbles made in foam
Posted by Jacob Tamari on April 10, 2006 at 7:33 pmHi, How can I pop the bubbles created in foam so that they pop from left to right (as if someone is poping them with his hands?)
Thanks

If you join the media-motion.tv mailing list, Mr. Maffit, the author of that plug-in might just chime in and answer.
If it were me and I needed to achieve this, I would use Particular (or MAYBE, maybe Particle Playground). It sounds like you need a particle generator that can use a custom layer as a particle, that can also provide better control of where it plays that layer back. Foam can use another layer as a particle, but uses the same playback timing for each particle… ie, there is no variation in your particles.

I have Particular, maybe I’ll find some time to do something with it. Let me know.

April 18, 2006 at 1:05 amHi Harry, yes I have Particular, I’d love to try it there. I have the total training set and that’s where they give you the tutorial on the bubbles thing so I didn’t think of doing it in Particular. Also, I duplicated the effect and put the person as the bubbles so that it looks like the person is in all the bubbles…..
