How to place a clip between two frames
Hey I have been using Premiere for awhile but I am having trouble with something. I am making a music video and I am matching up clips to the sound of a drum in the song. The problem is that for one instance in the song the drum goes off between two frames. When I try placing a clip on the exact spot the program snaps me to one of the frames on either side. I need to be able to place it between the frames so the video and audio match up. Thanks again in advance.

Video is a frame based medium.
Audio is based on samples which is many times smaller than a frame.You can not edit video at less than 1 frame accuracy.
Premiere is capable of shifting audio at the sample level.
You might consider shifting the audio if it’s really necessary for what you are doing.

Thanks I thought as much but I wanted to make sure. I am already looking for to work around the problem.
But I have a new problem now. I was using a .avi video that was working fine last night, but now in the morning is only showing up as a black video. The audio is there but the video is black in the preview window and the timeline.
How can I fix this???

I actually just solved it. I moved the file to a new location and re-imported it. It seems to working fine now.
