  How to Output Sequence Timecode to Sony M25U Deck – Firewire

  I seem to be able to get the deck to take external timecode no problem — it’s just that it insists on taking the timecode of the Original DV Clips or some random timecode from AE clips — but the time code ot the sequence nor for that mater the timecode ot the Quicktime Movie I made from the sequence and re-imported and tried to record to HDV. Argggh. Since insert and assemble editing are no a choice for HDV, I was really hoping to record sequence timecode to get the program to start on Hour 1.
  Am I mising some setting in FCP(5.0.4) or this as an issue with the deck? (I’ve noticed you can’t even get the deck to make some internal menu chages unless the firewire cable is removed from the back of the deck.)
