  • How to merge subdivisions inside an object?

I just started working in Cinema 4D, messing arround with modeling, and I used too many subdivisions while working, so my model is not very usable for further work in this state.
Is there a way to reduce the amount of subdivisions inside it, make that object a whole or something?

There is a polygon reduction deformer which will lower the poly count, but it produces triangles so it may not give you what you want. Best way is generally to use the loop and other selection tools and use the dissolve and melt commands to lower the poly count.
