  • How to Merge 2 Video into 1 ?

    Hi guys,

i wanted to know something and i don’t know if it can be done in After Effects or not.

I want to make something like a split screen videos with different background then it merge into 1 frame.

For example, on the left side, i have a woman walking front with park like background and on the right side, i have a man walking front with house like background. Then they both meet each other in the same place and the split screen turned into 1 video with same background.

Did you guys get what i’m trying to do?

    hey Kawakibi.

    easy staff really.

you should shoot them on a green screen, (both of them), and then you can change their background by keying to whatever you want. split screen or not….

make sure each image get the right colour correction and lighting as the bkg she is on, and when they merge, animate the values to the new BKG.

best result will probably be if one character move in to the other character’s word.. but that’s up to your copy/creativ/script I guess.

    good luck!

    Ido Shor.
