Hey folks an animation in my video requires 2 different colored solid which are round in shape and when they both merge together i want the color to emerge as a different color(not the one which gives when i change the layer style to add).

Can anybody please guide me how do i do that?

Thanks for at least reading my thread and it would mean a lot if you would guide me through this.

Duplicate your 2 solids and put them in a precomp. Create a solid with your final color. Place the precomp above the Final Color in the layer stack, then change the final color’s track matte to “alpha matte”

did you want them to create a secondary color effect so that they blend into a mixed color only where they overlap, like gels? I only say this because then you can drive the true color with a linear blend instead of an alpha matte.
