How to match the zoom across multiple still images of different sizes/durations
Hi all,
I’ve done a bit of searching around and can’t find a clear answer to a something I think is probably fairly straight forward.
I’m cutting together an animatic/storyboard made up of stills images and want to put a very slow zoom on each image that is exactly the same speed on each. I’m aware of how do this using the scale function and setting key frames, but as each image runs for a different duration and also has different dimensions it seems very tedious to get them to look similar. Plus I keep needing to change the anchor/center point as to make sure it always zooms into the center of the image.
I know i could nest all the images and zoom across the entire sequence but then you obviously start clipping significant parts of the clips later in the sequence.
If not in fcp, is this something that would be easy to do in AE or Motion?
Any help would be much appreciated.
Cheers,
Nico
