how to map an ADD EDIT
in avid there is an ADD Edit button. When you hit it it is like using the razor blade tool on all tracks that are selected. Ones not selected do not get cut.
what tool and how can i add that in FCP?

These are both kind of basics questions. There’s Control-V to Add Edit. Some people like to map the / key.
