How To Make This Effect?

I would ask the person who posted the video on YouTube. It may have just been something in their video editor that came standard and they dropped in there without much fuss. There is definitely some beat mapping in there which can be done with the Beat Mapper in Boris Continuum Complete.

We had someone a while ago ask how a particular effect could be done. There was several very involved steps that involved masking and compositing to carry it out. Then a few months later, I found out that it was a built-in effect in iMovie and the person had just dropped it on their video without any knowledge of how it was created. So don’t get too impressed by or hung up on effects. Ask the person how they did it. It may be a preset in their NLE.

Well… as I said you could use the BCC Beat Reactor to drive an FX filter to the beat. The question is which filter would you use to make the glowing pulses? Maybe an animated Noise with a Glow filter with Beat Reactor?

I’ve followed your Beat Reactor Tutorial in YouTube and I did achieve the beat mapping effect just like the one in your tutorial but never the ones on the video but you were right all along that he just simply drop it in and I finally manage to figure things out and achieve those same FX in the video. I’m glad I can proceed to my project and I’m also thanking you for your help John.
