How to make the best quality DVD movie from Fx1 HDVideo ?
I work with vegas 7.0 and DVD architect 4.0 What option I should use to render captured video to keep the best possible quality? Should I render as DVD architect widescreen stream or render as 8Mbit HD 1440-60i. I’m just confused. Is this possible at all I can get back my dvd movie with the same quality like on the HD TV screen? Because so far the only way I can watch my videos on HD quality is to connect the camera straight to HD TV but it doesn’t make any sense without any editing. Thank you for help.

If you want to render to a DVD and play it using a DVD player, you have to render to Widescreen DVD. This means that you lose quality, since a DVD is lower resolution than HD. If you want to watch it in HD you have to render to HD, but then you (generally) can not burn it to a DVD and watch it in HD on your TV.
There are a few options, you can probably render to HD and watch it by connecting your PC using DVI to your TV. You can also get a blu-ray burner (about $1000 at the moment) and some software to make a blue-ray disk (very expensive) and see it on your TV. Alternatively you can edit it, and transfer the edited video back to your camera and watch it on the TV that way.
Finally, I think there are some DVD players out there that will play HD source video on HD TVs from a regular DVD. Check the DivX website for some details.
In other words, the market is fresh, you need to be creative.

Thank you for help. So looks like I know how to create HD and watch it at my home but I’m steel not able to send my HD(edited) movie to someone else who does have just HD TV and simple DVD player.
