How to make text sync with music . .
Hi every one, this is the first time I have ever used a forum, because I am not sure where to get the answer that I am looking for..
I wish to build an animation that has text animating in time with music. in After effects. . now I can put the music into the project, then I can place animations together. .but problem is, How do you sync the music, and preview so that you can place text animations with the sound. I seem to be having difficulty in previewing the project.
I wish to put together something like “what Barry Say’s” on you tube. .
Can anyone help me Please. -

I believe this falls under the category of “pain in the a&&”.
You might want to try using the plugin Soundkeys – made by Trapcode:

At the very least it will allow you to generate keyframes based solely on the waveform or frequency of the music, which will make animating to the music a bajillion times easier.
