How To: Make text revolve around a spinning sphere
I posted this in the wrong forum, so here I go again.
I have a spinning globe and want to create text to revolve around it in the opposite direction.
In my attempt, I created text and applied to it a CC Cylinder effect. It didn’t work because it doesn’t go around the backside of the sphere.
I was suggested to use the preset ‘text around a sphere’ but obviously I don’t know how to apply it as I cannt make it work.
Could you please help me before I go nuts!! I’ve been at it for two days now.

You simply select your text layer, place your CTI at the point where you want the rotation to begin and then you double click on the preset. You then animate the text rotation using the First Margin parameter.
To get the text to revolve around the globe, you will need two instances of the Sphere layer – one to render the front of the sphere and the other to render the back. You then place your text layer in between the sphere layers.
