  • How to make SureTarget do a full 360 Spin

    Hi,

I have set up a scene involving a central object surrounded by four nulls (North-East-South-West) and I use a separate null to which VideoCopilot’s Sure Target is applied (and which creates the camera).

When I fly the camera from North to West the motion is the way I want (rotation clockwise). However on the final part of the journey, from West back to North, the camera all of a sudden changes direction and goes back in counter clockwise mode.

Any idea how to make Sure Target do multiple full 360 spins?

    Thanks much.

You might get a quicker response if you pose this question to Video Copilot tech support.

    Hi,

I figured it out. Turns out that I had my camera move in Ae set up wrong. If you start off in the East (e.g. -90 degrees), then go South, West, North, you have to keep adding 90 degrees of rotation in the proper direction, otherwise the camera spins backwards.

Can be mind-boggling none the less when you overlook such simple stuff…

    Cheers,

    Richard
