  How to make pixelated 3D characters?

  Hi, I would like to create 3D characters in the same style as this (link below) and I can’t figure out how it’s done. Is it something you would do with the model in cinema or would it be a render setting?

  I think this is the style that the above advert was emulating

  but they’ve used 3D instead of traditional 2D animation
