  • How to make multiple images on screen at once

I have a wedding I am editing with 7 bridesmaids.

I would like to have the 7 (or 3 at a time and then 4) bridesmaids on the screen at once (in a circle shape) and I am wondering the best way to do this? I also only want the bridemaid’s faces so I will have to zoom somewhere in this plan.

Is it best to do a track motion..although that only seems to be square..a cookie cutter? Masking?

I don’t need step by step instructions, just something to get me started.

I guess there could be a number of ways to do this…I would put the video for each bridesmaid on a separate track and use the cookie cutter VideoFX to make the circle effect. Then use Track Motion on each track to position the circle-video on the screen and size it to fit. Of course you could then move the circles around for effect and on the bottom track you could have another video clip as a background and maybe de-focus with a blur.

…oh and use the Event Pan/Crop to zoom into the the faces and frame them up. Just know you can’t zoom in too much or the video will break-up and look pretty bad.
