How to make fast move effects?

At 23 seconds where they transition from one image to the other I would place my two images next to each other in AE so you don’t see one. Either add a camera and move it or parent the two images to a null object and then use that to move the two images to the right to reveal the hidden image. Select motion blur and AE will do the rest. However, it looks like the image on the right darkens up as it moves off screen. If you want to do that as well I would just drop it’s opacity slightly and make sure nothing is below it or if something is add a black solid. Hope this helps and best of luck.

I understand what confuses me. Motion blur just don’t work when I turn on it.

In Effects & Presets I use and CC Force Motion Blur but without any changes!
I have no problems with other effects. I don’t understand what I make wrong and why are not visible this effects?

AE’s built-in Motion Blur only works with layers that are actually moving. If the layer doesn’t move, there’s no motion blur. Never mind that something on the layer moves: the layer itself has to move. And the faster it moves the more motion blur you will see. That transition should only take about 20 – 30 frames.

Now I understand. I had motion but blur started to work well when I made the movement for about only 10 frames. With parents I hope it will work well.

I can’t perform the effect. I offset image outside the visible area for 10 frames. The motion blur effect is only 1 cm. How to make more as the effect of the video?

I’m not sure I understand. Take a look at this video I did and focus on the Motion Blur of the images and text: https://vimeo.com/90560390 That is the default motion blur settings.

Yes, that’s the motion blur effect that I achieve too. But it’s not what is shown on my video. In my video effect is with width of the entire screenq not only 1 cm.
I guess it is done in another way, not with motion blur effect.
Do you have any idea how?

Take a look at the following sample I built.

I built what I described but added an adjustment layer and the Directional Blur Effect. I used keyframes to increase its value from 0 to 250 and then back to 0. See screen grab for reference. Hope this helps.

I played around a little more and I like the direction of the blur at 95%.

This result is quite… modest (1 centimeter motion blur is not like in the video I showed). I know how in Adobe Photoshop to increase this motion blur. I just feel stupid I have no control over this effect in AAE and how just to boost it!
