HOW TO MAKE AN INVISIBLE MAN ‘SEE-THROUGH’ in FCP
Hello,
Can anyone give me some advice…not sure where i should post this question.PLOT: I’m filming a talk show where the host is invisible.
I’m shooting my subject in green screen suit against a green screen, and I want him to appear invisible, aside from anything he wears like a hat, etc (which works fine,)…but the environment he interacts with is affected by his hands when he places his hands on, say, a desk. What’s happening is that you can see straight through the desk and into the background I’ve chosen to layer behind (an ext. shot)
Now it’s obvious why this is happening – my question is, how can i get around this? Am I looking at major Shake compositing of objects he interacts with or are there less complicated solutions?BASICALLY I WANT TO MAKE A PERSON COMPLETELY SEE THROUGH SO YOU CAN SEE OBJECTS THROUGH HIM, NOT JUST KEYED OUT (to another background…on a different video track.)
I’m not seeing anything this in depth online so I hope someone sees this post and can help me out.
thanks a bunch all, keep up the good work
