How to make an interactive DVD?

You would have to design the menu like the original Flash game. Then, when the user selects the correct button, have it jump to a track of the movie.

DVD authoring is much too complex to provide all answers on a forum. Do a search for some tutorials.

Ok thanks. Actually i think i can visualize what you are saying.

It will act like a regular navigation DVD only a little more complicated.

Is there any way to learn from reverse engineering from games already on DVD’s i have?

I’m going to order those books right away. Well the PC speciic ones anyways.

Yes you can take a look at a DVD “inner workings” – Try this app. if you have a mac:

It takes some knowledge of the DVD spec to understand but with some time you’ll see how those games work.

Also be warned that defeating the CSS on a disc is illegal and not supported here.

Thanks for your help. I’m on PC here. Ok i will not ask anymore about the CSS comprimizing.

Is there any example scenes i could purchase from adobe or whoever that show how to make a simple game?
