  • How to make a ticker – Interlaced

TV Broadcasters output in interlaced (I assume, 50i). I want to make a “in program ticker” for information purposes, like this – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2U6-JAY7r70

What do you think the frame-rate of this ticker might be? (PAL region). And how will I go about making this to suit 50i for smooth results?

    Newbie here, many thanks!

Yes, this helped. Another question, when I produced the ticker, it plays smoothly, only issue is, there are a bit of rough edges on motion. Any idea on how I may fix this? (Playing via a HDTV)

    Many thanks!
