How to make a light effect like this in Motion
Can anyone suggest the best way to create something similar to this in Motion? I’ve been playing with lights but can’t seem to get anything close.
I’d massively appreciate it if anyone could point me in the direction of any tips/tutorials etc. that would put me on the right track.

Or just google “light leaks” – which is the way it’s usually referred to.
I don’t want to seem rude but … be aware that this is currently the most over-used effect out there!

Ah I knew it must have a name!
I wouldn’t have chosen it myself, it was a request from a client – they want the style to match previous work they have done, so I’ll have to do my best (fairly new to video..)

Had a quick google search as Simon suggested and this really is everywhere isn’t it? I never even knew it was a technique before, and now I can’t stop seeing it!
