How to make a god like effect from the sky
we have talent looking up to a blue sky. We want to add clouds or light which he is talking too. How can we do this? Thanks in advance

Lux and Shine from Trapcode are two very good plug-ins for producing volumetric lighting (www.trapcode.com). However, you don’t need them, you can create a bright yellow solid circle, blur it and composite it with the ‘add’ blend mode to make a bright light.
Then you could duplicate that layer and use a radial blur in the ‘zoom’ mode to fake volumetric lighting. You could animate fractal noise with the Multiply mode on this layer to create a shimmering look. This will take some tweaking, and if you get stuck at any point feel free to ask more specific questions.
Bottom line is a radial blur can do wonders in terms of volumetric lighting… and fractal noise always goes the extra mile for adding an organic look.
