  • How to maintain PS Linked layer in AE

    Hello everyone!

I need to import a PSD file with linked layers into After Effects, but every time I need to link the layers again in After Effects.

I use CS4 and I import the psd file as Composition – Cropped Layer

Does anyone knows how to keep the “parent” settings??

I dont find any information about that, only how to link in each program.

    Thanks a lot

    Peri

Pretty sure linked layers don’t translate to AE. You just have to relink them with parenting.

Which isn’t, as i’m sure you probably know, really the same as linking, e.g., you can only transform all the layers together by transforming the topmost parent layer.
