    Hey Darin

    Well I shoot photography as well as video -my background comes from video but here in Indianapolis -these blue collar workers understand photo more than video. So the 7d is my backup-

    Not sure which shoots better video-I havent really tested the 7 yet -I just got it not long ago -but I would imagine the 5 still shoots better because of the full frame and better noise reduction. The 7 is def a contender though being that is was used for all the opening shots of SNL 2009 open credits (look it up)

    The 7 does shoot 24p and 60 frames a sec in which you slow that down to 30 frames a sec u get a really nice slow more instead of shooting a normal 30 frames a sec and then slowing that down to 15 frames a second. -I love both cameras -they are like a videographers dream to have a camera do both.
