How to keep the size of still images in Premiere Pro CS4
Hello 🙂
I just registered here because I need some help. I hope someone can tell me what to do. I am a photographer and haven’t used Premiere Pro before. I have the CS4 version. What I did is cut a photograph into pieces and now am trying to make them appear one after the other in Premiere Pro, like a puzzle. I imported the images as TIFF files but they change their size so I can’t fit them all together to form the picture. Is there a way the imported images keep their size when imported? That would really make my life easier 🙂
Any help will be much appreciated 🙂

This is going to be an ungainly solution, maybe someone can find a more “elegant” one.
First, make sure “scale to frame size” is unchecked, so files will be at their original size.
Then, go back to your picture. Duplicate as many layers of it in Photoshop as you want “pieces” for your sequence.
In each layer, cut out one piece and delete the rest, leaving placement alone. (When you view all layers it should still be your picture, looking normal.)
Import it as a PSD file, with each layer on its own video track, and turn opacity on as you want the pieces to appear.
That will work.
