I wanna join 2 video files that was rendered with different codec and resolutions – First video is avc – if i do that with avc render in sony vegas – then second part of the video looks bad, first (avc) – looks good. if i do that with another codec – first part of the video looks bad , second is ok. Do i need to sacrifice quality when joining different files or there is the way to do that without quality loss?

If they are different resolutions then the answer is yes. One will be resized and loose quality. There is no way around it depending on how different the resolutions are.
