how to isolate corrupt clip causing crash?
scooting a certain section of my timeline sends PP into “application not responding” mode with the spinning beach ball, etc. i can’t figure out if it is an individual clip as i’ve experimented with moving a clip. saving. moving another. saving. then crash. reload project. repeat…but then it will crash on a different clip, though it’s always in the same area.
i moved the folders of clips to a different hard drive, relinked all media. no change. i deleted media cache. no change. not sure what else to try….
settings:
sequence – AVC-intra 1080i 29.97 df
clips – mostly all AVCHD, some QT ProResthanks for helping out a bonehead!

AHA! It musta been a corrupt preview file! I deleted that folder and all is well. Sheesh…i’ll have to remember that one…
