How to insert black clip?
I know in media 100 you just push apple B for insert a black clip on the time line. My question is how I can insert a black clip in FCP. Please help.

The difference in terminology between these programs can make finding even the simplest things time consuming.
It’s called a Slug in Final Cut and is one of the video “generators” the program can create. See Chapter 21 page 491 in your manual (FCP 5) for information on the various generators and how to create and use them. If your manual is different, search for “slug” or “generator”.
