How to increase render speed?
I’ve got three FC suites. Each renders at different speeds. The newest suite is lightening fast, the oldest of the three is frighteningly slow. What are my best investments for speeding up render time? Is RAM important for render times? If no, then what? Thank you.

I think that the speed of the processor has the biggest impact on rendering times in FCP.
There are other times that hard drive speed and RAM might have a big impact. What type of files are you rendering? Do any of your computers have less than 1GB of RAM?
