How to improve the voice alone in a stereo track
Hi,
(Vegas – 7)
How can i improve the voice legibility in an audio file which has the voice and music all combined together as one stereo track. The music is not too heavy or anything just mild background music with a voice over narration. How do i do this ? Equalizer ? Any other options in Vegas.

You can try an equalizer to boost the voice frequencies but if there are instruments in the same frequency they will be boosted too. This is kind of like trying to remove the eggs from a cake once it’s baked… you really can’t.
