December 17, 2008 at 3:24 amThanks, Rafael, I am doing that now.
But to use the anamorphic codec doesn’t that presume that it was shot anamorphically to begin with?
If there was no special lens shouldn’t it be standard and not anamorphic?

You can capture as 4×3 and if were 16×9 you just have to check it as Anamorphic in the Browser.
Or the opposite: capture as 16×9 and if 4×3, just uncheck Anamorphic.
To shot anamorphic you don’t need any special lens. Except the very old ones all the DV-DVCam_DVCPro camcorders record Anamorphic.
Try 4×3 or 16×9 but your codec should be Apple DV PAl if recorded with a PAL DV-DVCam camera.
