How to I tag points with text in Motion
Hi there,
I asked this in another forum a while ago and was old that this was the place to be.
I am trying to find out if it is possible to create the effect in Motion4 where you tag text to a point in a film so that the text moves with the subject. if you check out from 6s on in this clip you will see what I am talking about rather than my crap choice of words.
Any ideas?

You use the Tracking behaviors to do this.

Yes, this is easy to do in Motion 4. I would recommend that you check out this tutorial: https://www.digitaljuice.com/djtv/detail.aspx?sid=470&sortby=&page=1&rpid=0&rvid=0&swid=0&searchid=0
This is how it was done:
-Text layer was added above the layer with the movie.
-Match Move behavior added to text layer
-Hit F2 to open Behaviors tab
-Make sure Type = Transformation
-Move the anchor point to the area you want to track
-Select the Scale Adjust button so Position and Scale are enabled
-You will get a new option below Anchor called “Rotation-Scale.”
