  • How to hear effects from multitrack view to edit in waveform spectral frequency view

    Hello,
I understand that editing in the waveform view is destructive and editing in multitrack view is non destructive. I am trying to edit my podcast intro – I normalized, eq’d and compressed my vocal to make it louder and it sounds good except my breaths between lines sound like huge gasps now! I am trying to use the lasso tool and edit them out in the waveform/spectral frequency view from something I saw in a tutorial – but I can’t even hear the gasps in the waveform view. How can I hear what is in the multi track view so I can edit it out this way? ( I know I could razor cut it completely out in multitrack but then you can really hear silences in between and it sounds unnatural. And I don’t think you can use spectral frequency tools in the multitrack view.
