    Hello there.
I am working on a color grading project on a Final Touch. The software takes the xml file from FCP and builds a sequence. But it have problems with cilps that have variable speeds. We have to render and export them, than reimport them to the same place in the FCP timeline, export XML again and than it works. I would like to know is there any command in a FCP like hard commit on a discreet smoke so you can press the button or give the command, and software automatically renders the clip and switch the clip on a timeline with the rendered one?
That would save me a ton of time…
    Thanks in advance

don’t have final touch so i can’t check, but have you tried to ‘force’ render the varible speed clips regardless of them being realtime (if they are?) (you have to select to include rt+preview fx render under the render settings menu). This way you would create a render file on disk which the xml might point to when opened in Final touch?
