How to give text a cut in half effect?
The answer is probably obvious but i dont see it, how do I make text look like its cut in half?
I have a knife coming from right to left and I want the text that touches it to be sliced in half. -

A simple way to achieve this would be to
i. recompose your text
ii. apply a rectangular mask on half of that layer (with one side of the rectangle being exactly on the line where your knife will move)
iii. duplicate the layer and invert its mask
iv. Move the layers up and down as you want 🙂Hope that helps
