How to get Time Effects Window
NOt sure what is going on. But usually when i put TRIM TO FILL on a clip and enter Effect mode i get a window that allows me to change the motion to FLUID MOTION.
yet now when i enter effect mode it does not show up.
Where is it?

The time window doesn’t show up at all? Or the Fluidmotion option doesn’t?
If the FluidMotion effect isn’t there, have you hit the “Promote” button in the time window.
Otherwise, try moving your source/record monitors around. I’ve seen it pop up behind them before–looks like it doesn’t open, but it’s just hidden.

i highlight the track with the timewarp filter. hit effect mode. and the effect editor comes up and it is empty.
im used to the effect editor coming up and having controls – so i can change the speed interpretation to fluid motion, blended interpolated, etc.
whats wrong?

Hi.
I’ve found that it wont work if I use my keyboard shortcut to enter effct editor, however if you use the effect mode button on screen it will enter the motion effect editor window. I don’t know why, and if anybody does would love to find out.
