Glad it’s working for you – spread the word!
Inside of the script, there is a line that reads:
var.scalingRange = 75That variable controls how ‘wide’ the scrubbing range is – change it to a lower value, and you’ll need to move the mouse less.

I need the shuttle control BACK!

There are a lot of changes made to CS6 Pr seemingly just for the sake of change. The Adobe page on this says editors were observed who did not use the shuttle control. How many? Was the ‘n’ statistically significant or merely anecdotal?
The interface looks cleaner? Who cares ? It looks busier now than it ever did, so what was gained?
An valuable asset was taken away. Intuitive options were reduced.
